These assemblages unite scraps that are residual from other projects and that might otherwise have ended up in the bin. There is a sense of gratification that comes from repurposing even the most insignificant paper or ceramic bit. Every part holds potential.

These photos capture my process. I play with a selection of materials until I settle on a composition that makes sense to me intuitively. Once I've discovered that arrangement, I set about fixing the elements into place and capture that moment in time.
